How to Create a Coaching & Accountability Culture

  • Jason Zeman, Bausch Health,

The perceived Achilles heel of significant organization-wide training initiatives is the staying power of lessons learned on both attendees and key stakeholders. Too often, these well-intentioned change programs are greeted as events, met with initial excitement that fades with the next company pressing priority. In 2017, Bausch Health’s Leadership & Organizational Development team were charged with creating a coaching and accountability culture. They understood that rolling out an important initiative across disparate Business Units presented not just logistical, but cultural issues. A program that challenged current perspective, entrenched opinion, and acknowledged the varied backgrounds of these internal constituents would require an approach that would not just encourage change, but foster a willingness to consider reinvention. This 90-minute seminar doesn’t promise a universal magic formula, but it will offer insight, distill best practices, and share the concepts that contributed to the successful transformation at Bausch Health.
