Frank Washenitz is the VP/Head of Mylan Global and NA Sales Enhancement team. He’s filled several sales related positions over the last 9 years before joining the Global Sales Excellence team in 2012, to focus on sales training. Over the last 6 years, he played a major role in the development of two new commercial sales forces in India and South Africa, while designing and implementing a global sales training team across 50 plus countries. In 2017, he assumed responsibility of the North America Sales Training team. Over the past year and a half, he’s developed innovative and sustainable foundational programs to measure sales force effectiveness through field based simulations and assessments. The programs have provided Mylan the opportunity to link sales rep/manager competency based data with field activity and performance to measure rep/manager effectiveness, while testing the marketing and business strategy.
Frank joined Mylan in 2009, from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, where over the span of seven years he was responsible for various positions and assignments, including field sales, specialty care, field product management and sales management.
Throughout his management career he led several teams to top finishes, including a 2008 President’s Club for capturing the number one spot in the country.
He earned a BA in Science at Fairmont State University and a Masters of Safety and Environment Management from West Virginia University. In 2011, Frank was appointed to the Fairmont State University Board of Governors to oversee his alma mater.
