Don Benson brings 20 of industry experience to the team, both from the manufacturer’s side and the provider’s side. Various positions with Pfizer, Fujisawa, and Biogen Idec provided expertise in many disease states, including anti-infectives, antidepressants, Alzheimer’s disease, oncology, and allergy & immunology.
At that point, Don stepped outside the box to begin work as a Vice President of Business Development for a turn-key infusion company. True business partnerships were forged with physicians conducting in-office infusions. Health care benefits, coding, and reimbursement support were key metrics of success.
Don leveraged this experience to establish ProFusion LLC, offering customized marketplace training solutions to the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. He currently consults with several leading healthcare companies, focusing on training field teams on the business of medicine and how a customer’s business model can impact the perceived value of a company’s products. Combining knowledge of the business of medicine with his experience in the field allows Don to translate practical knowledge of the healthcare landscape into effective sales strategies and tactics for many field teams, including sales, account managers, reimbursement managers, and more.
