Kapil Kalra is ACTO’s Chief Customer Officer (CCO) and Founder. Kapil is a University of Waterloo graduate with a B.Eng in Computer Engineering (minor Communications) and BA in Economics (minor Finance). Prior to ACTO, Kapil has worked at three out of five of Canada’s top financial institutions, Scotiabank, BMO, and TD. He has also consulted on technical and project implementation at Deloitte.

Kapil’s first entrepreneurial experience was at age 10 where he built computers and sold them to friends and family. This fueled a fire in him to start his own business, one that has a positive social impact. Kapil has also been selected as an EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 finalist. In his spare time, Kapil enjoys family, friends, and keeping up with all things Toronto Raptors.
